You can use low-density woods that you have access to, or order Paulownia wood to get the best performance from your wooden boards.
On the Course portal, there is a list of suppliers for Brazil, Portugal, and several other countries. Paulownia is originally from Asia and is the most renewable tree on the planet. Today, it can be found in most countries around the world.

While your order is on its way, you will have time to build the shaping stand, the rocker table, and the skeleton. Plus, you’ll prepare your future workspace!
Every surfboard starts with the design and then the execution. If you want to design and build your own models, just follow the instructions in the Additional Tutorials. It’s very simple, as my construction system was developed using the best 3D board modeling software available, where the best boards in the world are designed: Shape3D.
